Cookies from Fattoush
So when you use our website, your selection of the preferred language will be automatically stored in your browser as a form of cookies. These cookies are useful to show you the same language selection the next time your visit Fattoush, or when navigating to another web page during the same visit.
You may also set your browser to block all cookies, including cookies associated with our services. However, it’s important to remember that many of our services may not function properly if your cookies are disabled.
Cookies from third party vendors

- Google Analytics Terms of Service

- The DoubleClick cookie
is used by Google in the ads served on the websites of its partners, such as websites displaying AdSense ads or participating in Google certified ad networks. When users visit a partner's website and either view or click on an ad, a cookie may be dropped on that end user's browser.
- Google's use of the DoubleClick cookie enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to Fattoush website and other sites on the Internet.
- Users may opt out of the use of the DoubleClick cookie for interest-based advertising anytime by visiting Google Ads Settings
Information we collect
We collect information to improve our website quality and provide better services and experience to all of our users – from basic stuff like users’ language selection, to more complex things like from where they arrived to our website, their browsing path within our pages, and their final action at the end of the visit so we know if they found what they are looking for or not.
There are two main types for collecting information:
Information you give us
Certain areas on Fattoush provide you a way to send us your information such as:
Adding a comment:
When you add a comment, there are three public fields and one private field as explained below:1- Your Name: (public & optional)
. This is the name that appears publicly when publishing your comment. It is useful to add your name to make it easier on others to know and reply you by name. You may choose to keep the “Name” field empty or add a nickname.2- Your Email: (private & optional)
. This field will not appear publicly. We collect your email in case you asked something in the comment and want us to reply you. In the future we are willing to activate email notifications when we publish your comment, when someone replies you, or when someone else adds a comment on the same thread. We will never disclose your email to any third-party, and will never use it for newsletters or any other ways of advertisements. 3- Comment Title: (public & optional)
. This will carry the title of your comment. It is shown publicly and is useful to make your comment text clear.4- Comment Text: (public & mandatory)
. This is where write your comment text, which will be shown publicly.
So, the information you add to the public fields will be displayed to all Fattoush users and also will be indexed by all search engines (e.g. Google) to be seen by all the population living on Earth, as well as some aliens living on other planets. If you added some personal information in the public fields by mistake, you can inform us immediately to delete your comment – and we’ll delete it ASAP. But in case if the search engine crawlers arrived to your comment before us, it will be displayed globally and we can’t do anything about it.
Searching on Fattoush
When you use the food products directory search box, or the small search box in the header to find unique information and articles on Fattoush, then you are sending us the search phrase, we process it to locate the information you are searching for, and return to you with your search results.
During the search process, we save the phrase and the number of returned results so we investigate it if no results were returned, and to use it for statistical purposes. When many people search for the same phrase (e.g. name of a product), we will add the product to the directory in case if we don’t have it, or improve and update it if we do.
Information we get from your use of our services
We collect information about the services that you use and how you use them, like when you browse a certain product page, read an article, or view and interact with our content in general. This information includes:
We collect through Google Analytics your device-specific information such as your hardware model, operating system version, and mobile network information.
When you use Fattoush services or view content provided by Fattoush, we automatically collect and store certain information in server logs. This includes:

Cookies and similar technologies

We also use these technologies to collect and store information when you interact with services we offer to our partners, such as advertising services or other Google features.
We use Google Analytics to help us analyze the traffic to improve the quality of our services and to know our popularity in the market. When used in conjunction with other advertising services, such as those using the DoubleClick cookie, Google Analytics information is linked, by the Google Analytics customer or by Google, using Google technology, with information about visits to multiple sites.
